About

Climate Training Co. is a social enterprise partnered with Climate Club to spread corporate climate action across Aotearoa. We provide training, workshops, and employee activations to drive more urgent action in organisations.

A percentage of training revenues is donated to charities Climate Fresk and Climate Club Aotearoa.

Our Mission

The climate crisis demands urgent action - yet many employees and decision makers are unaware of the impact they can have at work.

Our mission is to close the knowledge and caring gap using Climate Fresk and other tools that effectively facilitate change.

We want participants to leave our trainings feeling:

Clearer about what’s going on in our world right now
Confident that they have a part to play in how the future unfolds, and
Energised to take concrete action in their spheres of influence.

Meet the Climate Training Co. Team

Emily Mabin Sutton

A trained facilitator and Green belt in Fresk, Emily has run over 50 Fresk workshops with a variety of stakeholders and organisations. An emerging director, she is on the board of Consumer NZ, Cool-Safe and Clean Planet.

Favourite low-carbon activity: it’d be a tie between cycling and sailing.
Jasmine Tania

With a background in social media and digital marketing, Jasmine enjoys finding thoughtful and creative ways to support climate action through communication and content strategy.
Outside work, she enjoys reading, playing with her cats, and exploring low-carbon travel options.
Dr. Naomi Pocock

Dr. Naomi Pocock has lectured in sustainability, responsible management, and regenerative economic concepts at the University of Waikato, and has a background in business management.

Naomi’s diverse experience encompasses corporate consulting, programme management, and the development of impact-oriented businesses.
Louisa Gallie

Louisa holds a BSc in Psychology and Nutrition and has conducted food waste research for Auckland City Hospital.

With a background as an environmental educator and workshop facilitator, Louisa specialises in behavioural insights and strategic communication to inspire change.

Favourite low-carbon activity: Cooking, cycling, gardening and composting.
Saskia van der Geest

Innovation specialist. Saskia van der Geest MSc. is a consultant, coach and trainer in the field of New Product Development.

She specialises in improving the product development process (from ideas to profits) to consistently deliver ‘faster, better, more profitable’.

Favourite low-carbon activity: I love the outdoors: tramping, running, mountain biking.
Maia Ingoe

Maia Ingoe is a climate communicator and storyteller, former journalist and activist, based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). She studied environmental and development studies in Wellington, then worked as a breaking news journalist for RNZ before moving into climate mahi full-time.
Favourite low-carbon activities: Reading, crafting, and escapes into the bush or to the coast.
