Emily Mabin Sutton
As a co-founder of Climate Club, Emily has a broad knowledge of climate change and how to communicate it. From a background in biotechnology and software, she has experience working in product management & leading teams in global SaaS companies. She is an experienced workshop facilitator.
Fave zero-carbon activity: tramping in the Tararua mountains. -
Louisa Gallie
Louisa holds a BSc in Psychology and Nutrition and has conducted food waste research for Auckland City Hospital.
With a background as an environmental educator and workshop facilitator, Louisa specialises in behavioural insights and strategic communication to inspire change.
Fave zero-carbon activity: Cooking, gardening and composting. -
Dr. Naomi Pocock
Dr. Naomi Pocock has lectured in sustainability, responsible management, and regenerative economic concepts at the University of Waikato, and has a background in business management.
Naomi’s diverse experience encompasses corporate consulting, programme management, and the development of impact-oriented businesses. -
Saskia van der Geest
Innovation specialist. Saskia van der Geest MSc. is a consultant, coach and trainer in the field of New Product Development.
She specialises in improving the product development process (from ideas to profits) to consistently deliver ‘faster, better, more profitable’.

Maia Ingoe
Maia Ingoe is a climate communicator and storyteller, former journalist and activist, based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). She grew up in Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and ran the local School Strike for Climate movement in 2019, before studying environmental and development studies in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), where she edited Salient magazine, and in Tāmaki Makaurau worked as a breaking news journalist for Radio New Zealand.
After journeying to Antarctica the Antarctic Heritage Trust Inspiring Explorers Expeditions, Maia joined Climate Club, running workshops in schools and communities and working to help others take climate action.
She is also producing a podcast from the Inspiring Explorers Expedition and continues to work on environmental storytelling and journalism. In her spare time, she is an avid reader, loves a craft, and relishes every opportunity to escape into the bush or to the coast.
